This policy explains how Faded Laces Barbershop & Shoe Store ("Faded Laces," "we," "us") handles information through our website and the Faded Laces mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the "Services"). The app is developed and maintained on behalf of Faded Laces by Noah Harris.

Information we collect

Information you give us when you place an order

When you submit an apparel order in the app or on the website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address (optional)
• The items, quantities, and subtotal of your order, and your pickup location

The same applies to orders placed on the website. If an order can't be sent automatically, the website may instead open your own email app with the order filled in, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

Information stored only on your device

Your shopping cart is saved on your own phone (in the app) or in your browser (on the website) so it's still there when you come back. This stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you place an order.

What we don't collect

• We don't require an account or login.
• We don't collect your location. The "Directions" button simply opens your phone's maps app.
• We don't use advertising, ad tracking, or analytics tools in the app.
• We don't take payments in the app or on the website. Payment is arranged directly with the shop.

How we use your information

We use your order information only to:

• Receive and review your order
• Contact you to confirm availability, your total, and payment
• Have your order ready for pickup

We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.

Service providers and third parties

We rely on a few trusted services to run the website and app:

• Formspree delivers orders placed in the app and on the website to the shop's email. Formspree processes your order information for this purpose only and keeps a copy of submissions for a limited time.
• Google Maps displays the map of our location. When the map loads, Google may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on our website.
• Booksy handles appointment booking. Tapping "Book" takes you to Booksy, and anything you enter there is governed by Booksy's privacy policy.
• Instagram: tapping our Instagram link opens Instagram, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Apple App Store and Google Play distribute the app and may collect information under their own policies when you download it.

We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Order details are kept in the shop's email for as long as needed to fulfill the order and keep reasonable business records. If you'd like your order information deleted, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your choices

• Providing your email when ordering is optional.
• You can clear your cart at any time, or delete the app to remove anything stored on your phone.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you by contacting us below.

Security

Orders from the app are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing information is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Children's privacy

Our Services are meant for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
